Smart(e)* Urban Mobility – Today and Tomorrow – Final Congress of the EU Project CEMOBIL

Tomorrow’s urban mobility will be a smart(e) one: sustainable (long-lasting,) multimodal (distances will be travelled using several means and modes of transport), achievable (affordable for everyone), rapid (fast, without waiting time when changing transport modes), touchable (simple to use and to book along the entire distance via smart phone), electric (electric or zero-emission vehicle drive systems)

How far from this future scenario are we today, and how can we get there?

Paolo Tumminelli – the design star in the e-mobility scene, Dr. Weert Canzler with his study “The New World of Transport”, lectures delivered by experts, best practice examples from all over the Europe, discussions, a World Café, a site visit / CIVITAS training, test drives with e-vehicles, an exhibition shown in the context of the “Sustainability Days”, a poster promenade, klimaaktiv consulting, an evening reception and communicative breaks will address this theme from different perspectives.

A special programme with free admission is offered to the population at large.
