ECOCHAMPS Midterm Conference

The ECOCHAMPS consortium is organising its Mid Term Conference on 24th October. It will be the opportunity to present

• the new MSF approach,
• the new driveline components that have been designed
• and the demonstrator vehicles that are being built.

What is ECOCHAMPS?
The goal of ECOCHAMPS is to make hybrid vehicles more successful in the market. Standardisation and modularisation will bring down the costs of hybrid electric vehicles, and more functionality will make them more attractive. ECOCHAMPS will propose a Modular system and Standardisation Framework (MSF) and develop five demonstrator vehicles. These standards are the first to be developed for hybrid electric powertrain components for commercial vehicles.
